May 01st - 09:43 | I've actually been here for a few days, but I tend to Lurk more than talk. However, I seem to be having some kind of bug in my exploration and since I was stupid enough to walk out of the cities without a Teleport and a recently used Homestone...I'm Stuck and feeling sociable.

I have to admit. I do like the idea of being the old person who says to the newbies, "I was here BEFORE they had the giant canyon carved into the planet by that big monster laser in space. Dinosaurs also roamed the planet. For some reason quite a few were invisible. No, really. I had to fight them to get to one of my God fights. Why do they always walk off when I say that?"

05/03/2009 09:24 | Beyrone was playing alpha. You should've seen the combat system before. It was so boring. Click, click, click. No abilities, no fury, just pointless clicking.
I realized that compared to the popular games out there, we aren't really starting off that badly. Tons of games are clones of each other, so people just join and quit them.
Hopefully the changes I'm making this week, and some advertising... will drag those newbies right in.

05/03/2009 14:14 | Yeah, I have no problem picking up seven clone games to play, then quitting them one by one as I get bored/find it's taking up too much time, but then stuff like MonBre that's actually different ends up keeping my interest a lot longer, just to see.
Good news is, Lexca, you get to be an old person too some day!

I'm trainer level 14, just from beating the first 6 gods and getting the best house/barn, and we now have money drops from mobs, so I can easily see trainer level 10 happening with enough perseverance and time to spend.
