03/19/2009 13:05 | The problem I have with 80's music is that you can never find it in good quality :/ I listen to a lot of old bands, power metal mostly, like Blind Guardian, Helloween, etc. But their older stuff is all quiet or tinny sounding or something, and it takes away from the experience, you know?

03/20/2009 21:47 | Lol, yeah, I just find it hilarious more than anything. Gamma Ray is the same way, too. Freedom Call is like that but with trumpets added in, so obviously that makes it more epic.
I'll see it when I get there, but I'm not sure how many people will get it, lol. Still, that's pretty sweet.

I can't say I've got much you might like, ska maybe... Look up Streetlight Manifesto, they're by far my favorite ska band.

05/21/2009 21:13 | They're not exactly well known, I saw them live a while back. Great set, but amazing show counting all the other bands there.
They have a new album (or possibly just EP? bleh, new songs anyway) that I haven't been able to find, but there's a few torrents for their first album. Excellent if you're into hardcore punk/metal, but not hardcore itself really because that's just silly.
