January 03rd, 2009 16:14:57 PM | I mean I'm thinking it really is just not that awesome. There's only a few people and already avatars are looking bland. They were meant to distinguish between posters, and now I see a dog and it's like "Oh look CJ posted" except it's actually like, some other guy.
I think we should just go to custom avatars. Max of 80 x 80 pixels, only gif and jpg allowed.
What do you guys think? inb4 everyone agrees.

01/04/2009 10:30 | YEAH!!! I've got some hilarious avatars I could use [Not the rude/OTT ones] , I think having custom avatars would help but uploading them to the server would be bad, URL based ones would be the best idea....

? Why would uploading to the server be bad? They'd be under, say, 100k, and even if 1,000 people do 100k, that's only 100MB out of the 100 gigs I'm alotted.
