Jun 27th - 20:50:57 PM | Anyone ever play "Chocobo's Dungeon"? You could fuse 2 equips together to create a +1 and further up equipment. You choose one to be the base, and the other to be the sub. You could fuse together a poison weapon and a confuse/etc. weapon to create one that had both. You could also add stuff to make special effects on them. Either that or a Legend of Mana weapon creation system. I could explain that to you, but it would take up a whole page. Uhm, has anyone here ever played Legend of Mana or Chocobo's Dungeon 1 or 2? Maybe they could help me with this....

Jun 28th - 13:44:53 PM | I have played chocobo's dungeon (2). I'm considering it now.
If I add a fusion for weapons, then that'll give something more for people to do with their equips than just sell them when they're too suck. It also gives more customization... more need for money... as you will spend the money and not gain from selling. However I don't want to make it a locale in every city, so I suggest that the weapons fuser only goes in some towns.
The only downside I can think of is getting my pooper to code it.
What do you guys think?

I like the idea of fusing, not only will it add another interesting element to the game but it will give me something to do with my monies. hehe
I haven't played either of those games so I find it a little difficult to know exactly what you have in mind, but sounds fun so far. <3

Aug 02nd - 22:08:19 PM | Well, melting down monsters seems a little cruel. Anyone ever watch Shaman King? Yoh Asakura (Hero) fuses his Guardian Ghost Ameidamaru (His spirit partner who he synchronizes with in battles) Into his sword, therefore making the sword and himself much stronger. As such, you can do what your talking about or something like that, but change it from "melt down" to "soul-binding" or something. No not that stupid feature that make equipment only available to the user, because it's sick. Anyway, I got a little off topic, so here's the deal. In Phantom Brave (My fave NIS America game) You can fuse two weapons in a way much too complex for java or anything, so that's out, what I'm trying to say is, make the monsters' souls bind to a weapon instead, making it much less brutal. Ah, by the way, if you decide to put in a "Bonding" system where your monsters like you more if you care for them properly, that could be a factor in determining the power of the fusion. This would be very useful if you can fight for yourself later on.

Anywayz... It sounds good but annoying... That gives people reason not to make monsters work every day if they have a personality... It makes you feel guilty...

Sep 14th - 18:03:04 PM | I just looked at this topic now, and when I did, I wanted to retch. So I say leat's get focused on the idea of just making fusions of equipment. Either that, or make a new topic of "Weapon Creation" where you collect materials and so on, name the weapon and it'll lock the name into the system in order to make just on as long as it exists. I don't know if have authority so I'll let sir Victus approve it first (Wait for that before attempting the following). After permission from Vael Victus, he and I may allow a vote on what to do.
