04/07/2009 18:57 | Oh man, Jade Cocoon. Went through the whole game combining EVERYTHING with my main guy, because I knew I couldn't get him back if I combined him with something else XD
Haven't played the second, but as soon as my MacGyver-style Pirate-o-matic is up and running, I'll remember to grab it.
I remember seeing an ad in Official PlayStation Magazine back when Jade Cocoon was new... Alongside ads for Legend of Legaia  Legend of Dragoon was also good, speaking of that. Oh, PS1 games. How I loved thee, if only because years later I got to play through all my nostalgia for free... Unlike PS2 games which just kind of got added to the list of games I SHOULD buy when I feel like wasting money, and never really got bought.
Nostalgia aside, hey! We don't have any 3D renders that change depending on how you fuse your monsters together or anything like that, but, we DO have forums, and I'll take people over graphics any time.

04/07/2009 21:03 | True, but you know what I did last summer? Bought 12 PS2 games on ebay for $20-30. I think at this point I deserve to grab a few the wrong way.
Plus, the harddrive enclosure is already on the way, the harddrive is already here, and of course I have a PS2.
I got home from work one day, and was trying to understand why there was an extremely large brown lump on my door step... Turns out they ALL arrived over the course of the weekend so they taped them up and left them there for me. Gotta love postal workers.
