I've been a gamer since pong was cool...I'm old enough to have two grandkids...I'm a chick...
Enough about me.
This is not a bad effort for something that was slapped together by an individual. A little grindy, but I've certainly seen worse. Plus...free. I like free. Did I mention I am a cheap bastard?
My only suggestion so far is that you put something in the reference about what to do when your monster gets tired. As far as I can tell you just have to wait until it "ticks" over...but I could be wrong. I read every blessed thing in the documentation and didn't find anything that said otherwise, though.
All in all...kudos. Good time wasting simple game. Only took me an hour or so to find where the moon rock was, too.

Thanks for checking MonBre out, and wow that you read all the reference. When the monster gets tired it's because of work, so working it is more of a thing to do if you're not going to be playing that day. I don't expect people to log in daily to explore, I figured someone who liked the game would explore 2-3 days a week and would work the rest. Money's not too hard to come by in MonBre.
As you may have read in my second-to-last announcement, the game is on hiatus for now, not sure what I'm going to do with it or when.
As for the grind, well, I try to add quests and I've tried my best to vary the combat a bit. Mob sets make it so you don't really face the same mob twice, at least at the same strength, and I put enough variety (past the initial dire wolves and rabbits) into each map sector so you aren't just killing 2-3 mobs the whole sector. You should've seen it before... there was no minimap in exploring, all you had to do was hit "attack" to attack, and we had hardly any pictures for the mobs.

I read about your hiatus. I think it is a good thing. You seem relatively young and it is always a good thing to pursue independence and your own life. Sometimes you just have to move on.
