Additions/changes Trainer Skill Tree The "precision" talent was replaced with Heroic Spirit. This is because precision was overpowered with certain monster builds, and it was just kinda... dumb to begin with. ^^; We now have skill icons for all of the skills! Cool... eh? Some trainer skill names were changed because I couldn't find good pictures for them. I wish I were joking. They're cooler now anyway. And... oh, your trainer skill tree should probably be reset now. I didn't force a reset, but if you put points into precision, you may want to. I gave everyone a free respec timer reset anyway.
Added a cute little image to teleporting in exploring.
Changed Kiera's Rage to use full strength stat instead of half attack.
Bugs Using the bounty valor skill no longer activates rampage in addition to its effects. Restored the sexy fade for non-blind users using valor skills. skills disappearing when selecting them should no longer happen Fixed a battle exploit with fury (lol spamming the F key) Various other bugs
Developer Notes We're still not in development, I just felt this was an update that we needed. We'll be back to real development around June 2010. MonBre is my first game, and it will see a complete development cycle, with a port to Facebook. When ported, it will not erase any stats or anything. Don't worry.
If any game-breaking bugs happen, mail them to me! I log in every day to see if I get any mail for really important bugs. I can't look at the bug forum all the time because I have other things to code.
I liked precision. Even though it was sort of overpowered it was so much fun. Ultra-critters were so much fun, especially when spliced with a good mons for Fall and Deliver. Heroic Spirit really has no point for me because I would only use it for getting my bounty faster, but now I am level 25. It would've been cool if you just lowered the percents that precision improved criting by. Oh well. Now I will just put the extra points in Altruism

The problem with precision was that it was made 2 years ago. Before we had the awesome skill system, before we had even skills. All you'd see back in the day was "monster attacked victim" like 5 times and then hit go and ugh it was just bad lol. So having, as you said, ultra-critters was not very good for the balance of the game. In the future I do plan to extend the trainer tree a bit, and I'll probably be raising the level cap to 30 and treating the last five levels as 'prestige' levels - hard to get, but they're there.
