Dokov will set up shop in what ever town you go to where you can then exchange the sphere for a random item. It can be crappy or something real nice. When life hands you a lemon, it's up to you what to do with it.

Mostly, just get items from about Frahm or so, then just give 'em to the guild. I have, though gotten worse, like a rusty lead marble, which you can't sell for more than 200.
