Personal Website: vaelvict.us RepliesReply by Killer Killer09/28/2009 06:10 Are you supposed to have these to test out at the training center? That's what I do after each lab evolution that I go through that I haven't checked out yet. That's what I'd like here too. The rule of wildlife: Survival of the fittest.

Stomp all over 'em like they was cookie crumbs!!! Reply by Killer Killer09/28/2009 06:11 Oh by the way, I'm currently training up a worker and there doesn't seem to be any way to heal during combat. I did dearly like the old healing stance ... Why have you transferred abilities again? I don't know what was so bad about the old skill system, anyway. The rule of wildlife: Survival of the fittest.

Stomp all over 'em like they was cookie crumbs!!! Reply by Demi Lune09/28/2009 06:23 Nope, workers still have healing stance. There are more skills now, too, so you can mix and match the skills you want. Which is one reason why we got this new skill system, so that there's more depth and customization without making things overly complicated. Before, every monster was pretty much the same. Now, each monster is basically a unique snowflake or something. Oh, and the training center is being changed, it'll be back sometime around tuesday. But when that call never comes, it's time to face what you've become - there's no point doing all of this, unless you know you're having fun. Reply by Killer Killer09/28/2009 08:04 So I guess you can mix and match after a splice too? COOL! The rule of wildlife: Survival of the fittest.

Stomp all over 'em like they was cookie crumbs!!! Reply by Killer Killer09/28/2009 08:08 Um, Vael, I want the old detailed monster page back. At least the bass stats and the age and the type and the CPower (though we can see that on the breeder page). I don't care much about anything else much, but I wwant more than just their skills on that page. Because I like checking out mine too. So I want it back. And I don't need more than what was there before (THough it'd be nice to see equips, HAHA) The rule of wildlife: Survival of the fittest.

Stomp all over 'em like they was cookie crumbs!!! Reply by Vael Victus09/28/2009 11:15 I've added more details. I don't actually know what I'll do about equips 'cuz there's not much room to display them. I did everything but c-power, tell me if anyone else really wants c-power. Also, killer, you can edit posts, you know. Especially if you are posting four minutes after the other. MonBre is an unlisted game of Tinydark Studio.
Personal Website: vaelvict.us Reply by Killer Killer09/28/2009 16:29 No Vael. I DON"T need equips because they weren't there anyway before new skill system. I mean I want to have the bass skills like there was before, like Satmina, strength etc. The rule of wildlife: Survival of the fittest.

Personal Website: vaelvict.us Reply by Garr Slayer09/28/2009 22:17 Sorry I'm not just checking everything out but I'm just playing bits at a time right now. Here's a nice one if you didn't catch it already. Blue Phoenix casts a quick blessing upon itself, healing 5775 health! (581 HP now). I actually like this one. I feel like crying foul on unlimited use of Knock Down and Freeze by mobs. But, it's a new thing and I'll give it time to wear me down. My monster may not be properly balanced. It has a CPower of 112 and had a hard time with a level 99 Winged Worm. It was a nice challange though. Okay, I see I need an ability that helps with that. Can something be done about the move and fury that get lost with getting knocked down and frozen? I'm just asking cause, I guess that unless our monsters learn that worker toughen up ability we'll just have to deal with it. It's all good! Nice job Vael! When life hands you a lemon, it's up to you what to do with it.

Half of anything is better then a whole of nothing. Reply by Vael Victus09/29/2009 15:13 Oops, thanks for that, Gar. I messed up the math of the healing. Anyhoo, the knockdown, freezing, and shock are here to stay and I don't really think I'll be changing them because the game's pretty easy already. I did just change, however, the energy cost thing... that was an oversight. You may be a bit more disadvantaged right now than some at your level because you don't have a lot of skills to work with. You should rack up some soon. MonBre is an unlisted game of Tinydark Studio.

Actually, it's been around for quite a while now and didn't get fixed with the new system. When a mob dies from a status effect the next fight starts with both the mob's and monster's reduced stats. In addition, there is no block, it's gone at the beginning of the fight. When life hands you a lemon, it's up to you what to do with it.

Personal Website: vaelvict.us Reply by Garr Slayer09/30/2009 16:30 Looks good! On another note: I didn't know thorns could bleed a monster but, I think my monster didn't bleed enough, I'm going to pay closer attention next time. It was still bleeding for the next fight and only bleed zero on the first turn the second was fine. lol, reporting that my monster bleed zero Yeah, the bleed is good except for zero on the first turn of the following fight. I think he only lost damage when the mob cast the ability and he was already poisoned. Otherwise, the poison hurt him for "0 damage!" The rule of wildlife: Survival of the fittest.

Stomp all over 'em like they was cookie crumbs!!! Reply by Garr Slayer09/30/2009 20:14 My monster didn't get hurt at all with poison until the following fight. It's like the opposite of the bleed. Well, not exactly opposite. My monster didn't get hurt with poison during the fight where it gets poisoned but on the following fight it works right. Personal Website: vaelvict.us Reply by Killer Killer10/01/2009 15:20 For the worker, big clap, which takes 1.5*the attack, costs 20 energy. QUick attack takes 1.2*attack and costs 7 energy. So even if you did 2 quick attacks, you'd only lose 1 round of enemy hitting you, but gain .9*attack and 6 energy, as opposed to using big clap for 1 round. what a payoff! er, what am I asking you here? I bet you know already, haha. The rule of wildlife: Survival of the fittest.

Winged Wurm attempts to fly away, but ends up divebombing into the ground. Epic Pwnage! XD But, I'm guessing that's not supposed to happen because I can do the fury attack over and over again.... Right! Thanks, Killer. It was changed from 20 energy, 50% damage, to 15 energy, 55% damage. But please keep in mind that not all my skills are meant to be perfectly balanced, because some types are better than others at things. For example, evil types drain more than good types with drain attacks. I'll get to the other filthy bugs in this topic tomorrow. MonBre is an unlisted game of Tinydark Studio.
