I was thinking- There are people like me with uber monsters with no MOBs to fight to get high SRP needed to be stronger. I know a lot of people are annoyed about this. Vael- what you did was fine; It helped even out the game for new players so we could get more usershappy emoticon. However I saw a user who had been a breeder for no more than 2' 1/3 months. They had monsters stronger than mine. I think we could answer this with training gear- Handicaps, if you will. Simply make equips that take your stats down instead of up, decrasing C-Power. The monster can then fight the MOBs again. It would also be cool if you had some prefix-suffix things for gear too, but that's not really required. All I'm pointing out is it will ease the frustration of powerful players. I kinda got the idea from the Wieghts in "Disgaea", only its an actual good idea in this case.wink emoticon

Well, the problem with that is that people could level even faster that way. You level up until the mobs around Cooridat stop giving you full SRP, you lower your stats and then keep going until they stop giving full SRP. And then you lower them more.

It would be nice to keep being able to train, but there isn't really any reason to game-wise, except maybe raids but I'm not sure they count. So, I don't know if it's really necessary.
But when that call never comes, it's time to face what you've become - there's no point doing all of this, unless you know you're having fun.

When I first made monbre, I had no idea how to design a game.

That being said, this is a result of that. MonBre is, interestingly, not a persistent game. It has a lifespan. I'm assuming you beat all the gods and quests, right, Deroh? Those are the life-blood of monbre. And it sucks for you right now because seriously nothing is getting done for you. I did a few things to help the persistence and social aspect, but no one gives a shit about the PvP ladder. (not entirely true)

Adding something like this would make no sense in the long run because that is not how the game is supposed to be played. I'll tell you right now how it is supposed to go. You sign up, you're in aerra. You beat the 10 gods, do all the story, and you go to campaign 2. Beat the three dungeons, kill the mega boss dude, and you get entered INTO THIS CRAZY WORLD OF DARKNESS AND DEATH. Then there's some more killing of the dudes. Then you finally kill the evil that spawned all the mobs...

... but you do not get a proper ending. The game ends. There is no epilogue. Why?

Because of hard mode. Hard mode is like doing the content again, but with more powerful dudes. BOOOOOORING says Deroh, and BOOOORING agrees Vael. So instead I make the content not only harder, but insaner. I'm saying, the world is a darker place, maybe? I don't know how hard mode will go. But you will breeze through the content and there will be hot girls and hot guys and everything will be incredibly epic. I am making hard mode because it would double the lifespan (that is already huge) of MonBre. And then the player will get their epilogue.

There you go, Deroh, I typed that all for you. That is what you can expect from MonBre. In a month you can expect to be wholely in the same place, getting excited, because I will continue the progression of content in October. Completely. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS, DEROH!!! It means, no more systems to be made. The forums will be shinier. The raids, sexier... the class system, activated. Even guilds mining for raid golems, even guilds FIGHTING WITH EACH OTHER.

MonBre is not dead at all, boyo... no, no, it is alive and... stagnating. Once I advertise, the world will know the greatness of it.
