Alright! Sold it off at the store and actually got money off of it! Originally, got it from slaying a rock elemental a bit while exploring. Didn't know you could get that stuff. Currently I am on a quest to get all the rocks I can an' give them to some dummy for building or whatnot! BUt. GOt some big bucks for a measly rock. Isn't that sweet

Yep, and you have a higher chance of finding an item if you fight while sneaking. But, you have a lower chance to find an item if you fight while hunting. Normal has a normal chance.
There are also things like marbles that are just for selling, and they drop randomly off of some monsters.

Killer, demi's old post was full of misinformation so I deleted it. If you get +1 attack, it is complete attack, not +1% of the total stat. The suffixes you get are percentages, but only of the equip's stats.
Anyway, no, this cannot be done at all. Have you played many RPGs before? It is common to drop old crappy armor for newer, better armor. If you can't use something, you just sell it. Part of playing games is making decisions that you think will be best for your character.

Oh, by the way Loon, I can't sneak yet. But I know that, I've read the reference y'know. Yep, I have, and I know. In this othergame though, you could equip all the parts of the character's body: the head, torso, hands, waist, and foot. But none for the arms or the legs, and your pet, a wolf, couldn't get anything, not even for the head. That's about 5or6 equips per character, and some of them even had two slots, like you could hold a weapon AND wear an armor glove on your hands. And also, some parts were only for armor, the head and the torso and the waist and the feet. And I think this could be a novel concept. And I think we could implement it here too, and you could have different species with different equip types! Like dogs could have maces on their tails. Wait, I think i'm going too far afield! Haha.

Huh, I've never seen anyone do a double post here before. Weird. I got rid of the extra post, anyway, so it's all good.
The monsters don't really have hands/feet/bodies/heads/etc. to equip things to. They're pretty much just blobby things, which is why you put the equipment inside them. For now, anyway, having equipment in different places doesn't fit.
