When we sell it, let's actually get money for it!

Alright! So, I bought some crappy old newbie training garments for my guy with the TP. Then, since there was a courage place in town, bought some courage to add to them for 200. Then, I get enough TP for intermediate, so I sell the old stuff at the shop. It says I can sell it for $0! THat's a total ripoff! I Mean, I worked long and hard killing off sticks for that stuff. I mean, I didn't just walk in there and steal one. I Should get at least something for it! And I think we can help it, Vael! I think you should let us sell our crap when we're done with it, and maybe, maybe get like 100 or 150 bucks for the crappy noob training clothes, 300-400 for the intermediates, and maybe 500-600 for the cool expert stuff. Yep, I know training is paid by city taxes. SO WHAT! In this world, money isn't real money! Let's actually get MONEY for this stuff!!!!!

Well maybe that was a little bit harsh. Just buying and selling garments for practically free money is a bit tough. Maybe give a penalty to the player some other way? Maybe decrease said monster removed the equip from's stats by 1-10%. That'd be fair, and it would teach most not to waist their TP and their monsters?

Lol, the items you get from the arena don't sell for money for exactly that reason. I got up to 500 TP and got the best equipment, because I figured it'd be better than some SRP... Ah well.

But yeah, you hit the nail on the head. The reason you can't sell them for money is because they didn't cost you any money to get in the first place, and it's the same for most of the other equipment you get from quests.

Regular equipment from shops and mobs do sell for bux, though.

Yep! Got a nice 400 off of an elemental rock, which was what i was ranting about in the newer topic about more equip slots.

I've set a small value for each of them. Your equips aren't affected, but the future ones will be. The idea is that they are used to make you powerful for a small bit and then you just dispose of them, so this will aid that idea.
