Suggestions? Explore maps and all that stuff

I don't know which are the compass arrows in explore. All my JAWS says is tiles blank and extra town4 or extra town5 or extra city2 or whatever. Now I learned where to turn on visual aid mode so I can hope it worked. Nothing has changed. So, Hmm

There are no arrows, you just click the square you want to go or use the arrow keys on the keyboard. Number 1-5 use your different abilities in battle, and I think spacebar or enter should accept battles whenever you run into them.

Oh. Some guy said something about compass arrows or whatever. Which one do you click to go, say, like, northeast, or south, or east, from your current location. Because I don't have a feeling for the map layout really.

I'm not sure... I turned on visual aid mode, and I didn't see any compass arrows. The exploring map is a 5x5 grid, and you just click the direction you want to go in. If you wanted to go north east, you'd click the square to the north east.

But, I'm not sure if it can tell you which squares are to the north east or anything. I know the keyboard arrows do work, though. Up would take you north, right would take you east, down takes you south, left takes you west. I don't think there's a way to go diagonally with keyboard keys, though...

You can use the numpad to move in exploring. 9 is north-east, 1 is south-west, it's very intuitive. I put alt text around the center images that should tell JAWS where you are. (I put it in like a month ago)
