First off, let me say this is a great game and I like it quite a lot. I'm reporting this not as a whining complaint but as an honest issue.
First off, if you decide to travel around by boats/trains, it's very possible to get yourself stuck in a place where you're way way too weak to explore your way back to where you wish to end up (if you don't watch your bux and things). This is more a common-sense thing, so it's not a complaint.
However, alongside that, there's something of a bug that bears noticing. Somehow I am in negative bux (by taking an airplane ride I think), and for some reason even though I'm level 4 as a breeder, it's claiming I can't heal my monster who's been KO'd because I don't have the money. Very peculiar, this.
The result is this: I can't work (the one monster who could already has). Only one freezer spot, and I can't pay for another freezer slot so I can't switch Benji out for Grunt (my bought-and-paid-for worker) since one can only have two monsters on one's person at a time. I can't travel to a place where I can heal, I can't buy medicines to heal, I can't explore at all. This means that I'm stuck till conceivably my daily income allows me to get my monster alive again, and Insula (where I finished up) is not precisely easy.
No, I'm not asking for help or handouts, only trying to show that it's easy to dead-end yourself if you're surprised, aren't careful or fall afoul of a small bug...and all three have happened here. Any advice I can get would be appreciated. I want to continue playing the game and don't like being stuck.

Hey, Carly, thanks for the feedback, and sorry for this big mess.

Okay, it seems you got a gameover once. You lost money due to the gameover. I created the gameover script when I was a super big newbie - so it is not that great. That is what sent you into the negatives. I've completely removed the money penalty because it's stupid.

The train thing has come up and honestly I have very little solution. I'm going to make minimaps soon that don't suck and I hope I can give some idea of the mob levels around the area.

The other bugs aren't much worth fixing anything I code now will not send you into the negatives for money. I'm gonna send you 2,500 bux to compensate and get you on the road again.

Ooh, thank you very kindly!
If I might offer a solution - or part of one - regarding the trains and boats: drop the price a bit. Less chomp when you travel will ultimately mean you've got more bux to spend elsewhere. Maybe cut some of the higher prices in half, leave others where they are. Your maps are -HUGE! This is a great thing - though your quest coordinates and GPS have saved my life, being a blind user - but means travel overland takes way way longer. Lowering the cost on quicker travel won't kill overland travel, trust me...your quests ensure it.
In any event I'm very pleased for the fix, and the speed with which it was accomplished. I think I'll go off to Krial, as I'm hoping that place is just a mite easier than the one I'm currently in. Thank you kindly.

Hmm, do train prices increase as you go on? Or are they all fairly even? I should probably know that, but I haven't paid a huge amount of attention. As you get farther on, you tend to have more money than you need silly emoticon So train prices there aren't a huge problem, but early on it can be a bit of a crunch when you're dead set on getting the better houses/barns.
But when that call never comes, it's time to face what you've become - there's no point doing all of this, unless you know you're having fun.

They do increase as you go on. Carly raises a good point. I'm going go right now and change the train prices for the early areas.
