Suggestion: PvP Tournament

I know we already have PvP fighting, but I was thinking about something a little different. What about a tournament that everyone can enter that has prizes for say the top three or four people? Mostly because it'll be ages before anyone gets to beat Beyrone Leyt and letting Beyrone get all the goodies would be just cruel.

Maybe even different kinds of tournaments like ones only certain types can enter (good, evil, cute, normal) or ones where you have to have two strong monsters to enter instead of just one super strong monster. There could even be just one giant battle royal where everyone fights everyone at once (Though, that might be a little complicated).

Prizes could be simple things like SRP injections, Bux, nice equipment, trainer exp, or even just a shiny trophy you can keep in your house. Personally, I like the idea of giving the top trainer a shiny tiara and proclaiming them

"The absolute best, until someone better comes along next week to smash you into the ground!" At which point you look around the crowd nervously as several trainers seem to be starring a little too fixedly at you and your monster.

The difference is, I didn't have any real plan thought out The key point of that thread was "if someone has a great idea, I'd add it" and that I didn't have a great idea

I think a community-run tournament would be much moar appropriate.

True, but on the other hand, I still think that floating tournament in the mountains above Propton would be epic as hell.

Yu Yu Hakusho. And, for that matter, Dragon Ball Z.

You know you want to reference both of those things by adding a floating battle arena with a well balanced option to fight yourself for decent SRP.
