I know you're probably really busy, but I was thinking about all the under construction tiles. I don't mind them as much I thought I would. I just sort of think of it as wandering around in a dark cavern without the benefit of a torch. I was thinking that it might be somewhat easier if you added something there that showed us where the impassable objects are. Lakes and mountains, etc., probably aren't that hard to add. I mean you already have the coding in that doesn't let you go through them, right? Can't you just drop in some blue tiles for water and craggy looking things for the mountains?

Just a thought. Sorry if it's already been mentioned.

Yeap, they're going to be water one day, but I need to catch up first... heh, because not all places have tiles, so I don't want people to just be walking on water. Unfortunately the algorithm doesn't differentiate between unwalkable and doesn't-have-a-tile.

It will be in soon enough.

Alright. happy emoticon I'll just continue with the cavern illusion then. excited emoticon It does make for an interesting mental image though. With some of the mobs not having image designs just yet, it adds to the illusion. Then you get the one or two mobs that DO have images and you're struck with the idea that some of the creatures around the area are glob in the dark (Phosphorescent monsters? Part glow worm? Covered in glow in the dark paint?). *grins* It's really funny actually.
