Tournaments

This would probably come after the PvP update, but it would be kinda cool to have PvP tournaments. I'm not really sure what kinds of rewards there would be, maybe even no rewards at all, or maybe just item rewards or something.

But yeah, sign monster up, run tournaments every week or 3 days or something, it handles itself. Maybe a cost in bux to enter, winner gets the pot?

Alternatively, making it just in certain cities, and having a quest related to it. Fight random mobs, fight a big, bad, gladiator master at the end of the tournament. When a winner is you, you get a prize, everyone wins!

We could have different tiers, or something.

Lightweight for levels >100, whatever the middle one is for 100-200, Heavyweight for 200-300, and then some made up thing for 300+, at which point it's fair game for Dosaria to eat everyone.

C-power would work too, and might be more fair... Lightweight for 1-25, middleweight for 26-50, Heavyweight 51-75, made up word for 76+? Although doing it that way, it might be good to add another tier so that it was 76-100, then 101+.

Well, I was half thinking that'd be part of the strategy, actually. As much as it'd suck to send your level 1, 5 in each stat or whatever monster up against a newly spliced Dosaria, you could say that all's fair in love and war and stuff.

I've considered doing this, and it would work only in my original design for monbre - the completely single-player one, which went by with "weeks" and it was just messy.

I can't rule out the idea, but I can't say tournaments are even on the backburner, unless someone gives me a great design that I simply cannot refuse.

What counts as a design? I can't say it'd be great, or something you wouldn't be able to refuse, but I could think about it.
