I can't think of a better name for it, but it'll make sense in a second.
Rather than limit people to how much they can do per day as a way to get them playing each day, another idea would be to REWARD them for playing a certain amount per day. If you explore and move however much/fight however many battles, you get a certain reward. You may want to reward working, you may not, I can't think of a way to make that work really since you already get rewarded for it...
Or, say you need to fight 10 battles/move 30 times to get the reward. Each day, you can do that much for free, without your monster being set as exploring. You can go ahead and work if you want, but you can only do it while rested, so you'd need to "go out for a walk" or something before working.
I'm sure there's alternative ways to do it, but basically you want people doing little bits every day rather than ALRIGHT, LET'S GO GRIND 10k SRP WOO!!! like I did. There's nothing wrong with that, but some people will be like well now I'm bored, quitting this game.

But when that call never comes, it's time to face what you've become - there's no point doing all of this, unless you know you're having fun.
