I don't know if you can think of another place where an ad wouldn't be horribly irritating, possibly on the explore page somewhere in the blank space? I was checking this site out last night, but sorta forgot about it until now. The gist of it is that for every 10 times people view an ad on your site, your ad gets shown 9 times on other sites. You get 1,000 free "impressions" (their word for views) when you sign up, so that's 1,000 possible new members to increase the views more. I'm 99% sure that it's totally free, and I've never seen an irritating ad in it so far.

Here's the site, Vael, if you're interested. Low amounts of ads are nice and all, but on the other hand, free advertising? I've seen games that only use these ads on a handful of pages for advertising, not counting good rewards for voting to ensure that they're usually pretty high up on voting sites. Alternatively, just put it on the voting page, if you do ever make something like that. Doesn't bother anyone, double the benefit.

PBBG tends to rotate ads, and what I like about Project Wonderful is that I'll buy a space and the ad is there. It's pretty annoying to see a different ad every time, too. It is a pretty good consideration, however, as MonBre has a lot of pageviews for each player.

I was thinking putting one on the forum but ehhhhh. ehhh.

It would be more distracting on the exploring page, true. Though I like the rotation of the ads, lets me check out a bigger variety of stuff, but then again it tends to be on pages that aren't 100% necessary to view a hundred times per day. I agree about the forum thing, ehhhhh is my first reaction to that. Below the reply section, or possibly in between it and the posts would be the best I could see :/

Then again, it'd fit to the right of the forum's name. Probably not a good idea to squish ads in where you can, though... If you're really considering it, set up a vote, see what everyone thinks? Could work.

I'm actually putting it through my pathetic human brain now and I'm considering letting rotationals work. A big problem for advertisers is that MonBre has a tendency to get a lot of page views and not a lot of uniques, so I think a rotational can help. Good thinking, soldier.

No problem, I subconsciously knew that all along.
