BUG: weird after death stuff

This has happened to me a couple times.

Monster in first slot get's ko'ed
I move him to the second slot
Encounter a mob
Fight!

The fight screen doesn't load correctly, the picture and name of the monsters fighting don't show up. The only options are Attack.

tries to attack, but misses!
[insert name of opposing monster] attacks for 30 points.
has been knocked out.

The monster that is fighting is a lot stronger than the amt. of damage, also they're not named in the battle. The battle screen looks all f'd when you enter: everything's up at the top of the screen.

I'll look into it.

Edit: This is one of the most bastard bugs ever. I fixed it like a year ago (it was really bad) and then I fixed it last year. Now it's rare but still there.

I vow to fix it or at the very least change things so this doesn't happen again. I'm sorry for the gameover. >.o Just don't switch monsters for now, it technically is not that important anyway if the first monster is dead.

Edit: ACTUALLY LENNIE I SAID ABOUT A YEAR AGO SO IT COULD TECHNICALLY HAVE MEANT DECEMBER WHICH IT WAS AND THEN LIKE A YEAR I DID A THING TO IT AGAIN AND I DID IT OK
