I think, anyway? But when that call never comes, it's time to face what you've become - there's no point doing all of this, unless you know you're having fun. RepliesReply by Quinn Chapman03/02/2009 14:47 Is this for when it is deafeated/dies? "Molts" is correct, because it means to shed the covering of one's body. Like how bugs or lizards shed exoskeletons and skin respectively. Reply by Demi Lune03/02/2009 14:57 Sorry, it's "Pulsating Chimera molts its skin over its wounds, being healed for x hp!", I figured like being a shifting blobby thingajib... Since that's what it looks like. It's an ability it uses to heal, seems to give like 10-15 or so, I guess. Edit: Oh, and also, when it has full hp it says "Pulsating Chimera, being at full life, molts its skin over itself to increase its defense!" Something like that, anyway. In case they're both worth mentioning. Shedding damaged skin for fresh new skin, thus healing. Not sure about the raising defense part, but I suppose that could make sense too. I honestly never have time to read that stuff haha, click click dead, continue. Reply by Demi Lune03/02/2009 22:06 I guess, but usually snakes and stuff just leave their crusty skin everywhere, instead of rubbing it into themselves to heal themselves. But, these things happen in video games, I know that. I like seeing that every enemy actually has different text for stuff, it's like HEY A NEW ENEMY, oh I clicked too fast and missed it, that was a waste... I dunno, maybe that's just me? I too appreciate the many different death throes of my enimies. It's especially nice when the majority of them become invisible... Reply by Vael Victus03/07/2009 14:38 Actually it is molt. It's molting, like Zim in that episode. It kinda just like sheds its dead skin over its wounds and it's all better. I'm glad to see you guys like the death texts! It's all good, anyway. But when that call never comes, it's time to face what you've become - there's no point doing all of this, unless you know you're having fun. Reply by Galena Calalo03/12/2009 05:57 I was too nervous to start a new thread just on a typo', so I decided to post here instead. "The item was succesfullys added to your inventory!" I saw this after a got a barbed tail from a Horde of Rats. "The item is successfully unequipped." Verb tense error... I'm thinking that "is" should be "was." "Taking the equip in hand, you gently push it into the forehead of [MONSTER]." I would personally change the whole thing to "The item was successfully equipped!" To me it seems like it uses less space. Also: wtf did I just push a rat tail into my monster's forehead? edited once on March 12th, 2009 05:59:32 by Reply by Vael Victus03/12/2009 10:24
It was just "Item successfully unequipped." Now changed to "The item was succesfully unequipped." Fixed the llys typo. Also, yes you did, because if you read the lore you will see that the monsters are actually just pieces of energy formed into a physical being, like a doll. So that's why they can do special magic-esque abilities and just absorb things into their heads. MonBre is an unlisted game of Tinydark Studio.

Yeah, I read that, but to me, I'm just more comfortable with monsters absorbing shards than if they did with wolf saliva or rat tails. XD |
