God fight bug

So, I decide to go see what Gloria is all about and I get some weird error message. I shrug and decide to go exploring.

Can't.

It tells me that I AFKd during a god battle and when I click on the helpful link I get this error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/burnttoa/public_html/monbre/bossbattle.php on line 698

Basically, I can't do anything at this point because all my monsters are caught up in this error. Waaaah!

Disregard the bit about the horrible Orphani Muse. I finally got out of that one. What a bunch of clicking! My other account is still fubar, though..

Okay guys, I'm still stuck on my original account because of the error message. I literally can do nothing with that account at this point.

And now...

Drumroll...

I've created a second account and am currently stuck fighting an Orphani Muse in some sort of endless battle. She can barely touch me...she takes about 2 hit points off of me every half an hour and I can't touch her at all.

Bug? Feature? Do I just keep hitting attack for the next 3 days until she kills all my monsters off? Can I log off for a specified period of time and come back to my monsters being in town? Something? Anything?

I'm OCD enough to keep hitting attack but if I don't have to I'd really rather not.

Eek, sorry about all this mess. It must look wicked unprofessional. >_> It's just that moving to the new server has really messed a lot of pages I don't use all of the time up. I'll see about the god fight now, but for the muse, you should have an attack at the bottom of the attack box called "struggle". It appears after 10 rounds just in case things like this happen.

Edit: God bug should be fixed!

Coolness. Thank you. I actually got out of the Orphani muse nightmare by clicking attack three million times until she killed of that monster and the next one came up and he could kick her butt. I tried using struggle but for whatever reason it didn't work. No bleed, no hit point loss. *shrug*

Oh, and you don't look unprofessional at all. I'm very familiar with code weirdness since I actually got my degree back in the 80s in IT and have done a fair bit of it myself.

Again, thanks for fixing the god bug thing.

That's odd, I haven't done anything to make it not work. I'll put it on the list of things to code tommorow.

Ahh, thanks, I had totally forgotten about that link. Bossbattle.php is from a long time ago when I was a bad coder. ^-^; All battles are run through pve.php now.

Oh okay then how do I cancel it cause I'm stuck with it and I can't really do anything.

You should be able to "struggle" attack, but I'll remove you from all battlings anyway.
