Here's how it works currently:
Before the turn (not ROUND) starts, dice rolling happens. Takes your speed stat, and the mob's, and whoever's is higher attacks that turn. Sounds fair, aye? But then, most people whored out speed + strength (WHICH might I add, will not be good when abilities come 'round) and then killed the mob before it even got to attack. To counter-act this, I added "mob rage", which would make the mob get angry and attack you regardless, with heightened speed and accuracy. This was an alright solution, but still super-whores would never even face mob rage.
So what I have below is a new way to judge. It rewards those with speed and still allows the mob to attack. What happens is at first, as always, the speed is randomized, and then whoever is higher, attacks. However, there is now a duplicate variable of speed called "form", which would've been stamina but I used it already. >:[ So anyway, basically whoever has the highest form for the turn, will go first. Form goes down in a few ways:
* Attacking brings it down 3%. Getting hit brings it down 2%, blocking 1%, and dodging none.
* WEATHER! When MonBre 2 comes out, yes, there will be weather! I might also add "additional info" to mobs that has stuff like, "is flying, is made of stone" that'll change things.
Mob rage (and mon rage for that matter) will still be in, but hopefully by the time it's turn 4, the other monster will be able to attack. We'll talk/think about that later.
What thinks you all?
