So, I might be taking an unwilling vacation from virtual land. The internet connection at my house is being...erm...difficult. Apparently, some part of our network or perhaps even multiple parts together decided that only one person in our household at a time is allowed access to the glories of the internet. My father, being the one with the internet business, gets dibs. That means, until it gets fixed, I'll only be allowed on once or twice a week depending on homework demands. sad emoticon

My father will be working on it tomorrow, but I thought I'd let everyone know in case anyone became curious why I had mysteriously disappeared.

Thanks to previous intermittent fix-it attempts today, I got kicked off my computer numerous times. I got more yard work done today, then the past week combined. Darn inability to enjoy daytime television.

Hey, at least you'll have a lot to do on MonBre when you come back. <3 Take care. Maybe you can even make some new creations for us with your drawing.

It ~may~ be your internet service provider that has done this

It happened to my mate when his download exceeded 'unlimited' regulations

*looks hesitantly at her computer* My Dad thinks he might have it fixed for the moment. At least, both of us seem to be online.

I was starting to worry it would be a permanent condition. I had this visions of having to sneak into Dad's room while he's on errands to get my MonBre fix. excited emoticon I thought I might actually have to USE the vacation mode setting. *shudders at the thought of being disconnected that long*

I used to go without for a week sometimes. Just to prove I could still cope without. Funny, I haven't tried that for a year or two.

I'm sure there's a name for people who go after creepy old men that isn't reverse-pedophile, but I'm too lazy to look for it.

Not for money, for sexual attraction. Pedophiles don't go after kids because they love broke people.

Wiki says:

Sexual Preferences Based on Age

* Pedophilia refers to a sexual preference for prepubescent children (by definition including nepiophilia). It differs from all these conditions in that it is a clinically-recognized disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

* Hebephilia refers to a sexual preference for pubescent children. The term was introduced by Glueck (1955).

* Ephebophilia refers to a sexual preference for individuals in mid- to late adolescence, usually 15-19 years old.

* Teleiophilia (from Greek teleios, "full grown") is a term coined by sexologist Ray Blanchard to refer to the sexual interest in adults. It is used by professional sexologists when comparing (for example) pedophiles with teleiophiles, and Diederik Janssen, MD uses the term "Peripubescent Teleiophilia" in reference to "crush" phenomenon. For gender-specific attractions to people in this age range, see gynephilia and androphilia.

* Gerontophilia refers to the sexual preference for the elderly.

Unless you're old, it's kinda unhealthy then if it's to the point where you try to date them sorta thing. But it's normal to be like "dude that girl looks pretty good in those shorts, even if she looks like a huge ho-bag."

but is it unhealthy if you just happen to attract them without trying? I don't at all, but just hypothetically?

Dude, CJ, unless they're like 9 years old... You're probably fine silly emoticon You don't have much of a "younger" range to pick from silly emoticon

Also, we should probably stop spamming up people's topics.
