Hey there! So I just dropped in after seeing a banner ad' on Quarantine 2019. I've explored the site a bit, and personally, I don't mind if MonBre has a few ad's here and there... From my experience games like these more often than not have ad's that lead to other fun little games.
Err, anyway, I've got my Evil monster hatched (he's quite cute, actually!), and am currently training him at the Training Center. My highest priority for the little guy is to work on his agility.
Pretty fun so far! Probably one of my favorite parts about this game is that you play at your own leisure.

Yeah, the ads actually aren't very intrusive here. Some games can be pretty ridiculous with their ads, and I'm also a person who likes to collect games XD
Don't worry, they start looking a bit more "evil" later on, it's all good. Personally, I like the idea of keeping all my stats even, but focusing on a handful of stats works well too. Just don't forget about raising a few of your other stats sometimes
Right, and welcome!
But when that call never comes, it's time to face what you've become - there's no point doing all of this, unless you know you're having fun.
Woah, my intro' thread's getting derailed? Interesting, interesting...
Anyway, yeah, I'm focusing on skills other than agility; they're strength and luck... Does that sound good, or am I going to end up dying once I start exploring "god" (I read that and I was like, "wtf?") and start taking some real quests?
To elaborate on my skill plan: Agility's the strongest of the main three of the skills I'm working on. Luck and strength are always one point below agility. Stamina = 1/2 agility, and constitution is one point below stamina. Both of my monsters are evil and following that plan. I'm hoping to slice them to make some sort of mega ninja monster. -laughs-
I've poked around a few threads, and of course, I went through the tutorial, and from what I understand, there should be some sort of ongoing plot to this place. And something about... killing the god of creation or destruction? Maybe I should just let all of this unfold as I play, but a part of me wants everything to get spoiled.
Read the lore, it'll explain stuff. No spoilers, either If you don't feel like it, the basic gist of it is that Mokul, the creator, decided to split himself into ten pieces, to try and accomplish more. Problem was that that meant they all had 1/10th the power, so he wasn't really the dominant god anymore.
I can't remember exactly why you're fighting the gods, it was supposed to prove something or another. You can look that up yourself if you're interested XD
Personally, I'd put constitution above stamina, because taking less damage will probably help you out if you've got the strength to kill them fast-ish. I don't know all the formulas, though, so I can't be too sure about that.
My bad about the derailing thing XD I just hate making ten thousand topics, so it's just easier to continue conversations whenever I think of them...

Thanks for the advice.
So far I've tweaked my skill plan: Agility, luck, and strength pretty much still are quite pivotal, with agility taking the lead by one skill point. Both constitution and stamina are equal, and now there are both 1/2 Agility + 2 points. Among the two I now upgrade Constitution first. When it comes to leveling up my monsters, I always start with Strength first, so then Strength and Agility are Equal. I then continue to Luck, and as stated before, upgrade Constitution then Stamina.
So far this plan is working wonders for me. My monsters may have relatively low defence and stamina, but since their Agility is so high they almost never get hit (exceptions being abilities) and frequently hit mobs two times in a row. Also, ever since my Luck's reached 20, I've actually been started to get drops. ...Though I'll need to level up as a player if I'm to actually get them to work. On the upside I've sold a few of my treasures, too.
I've been treasure-hunting some more so I can afford a better barn to get a Working monster.
Maybe I'm doing things wrong, but I've honestly yet to make any real profit from exploring :/ I was hunting at the time, which meant a bit lower chance to get items, but I fought at least 200 enemies, and basically earned nothing. Working seems faster to me in terms of making money, but I guess it depends how much time you spend exploring.

I'm not sure if it makes a difference. I know luck enhances the effect you get from your stats (100 in everything, but 1 luck, would mean you really only get to use however much of those stats), but there's nothing that mentions luck affecting drop rate. I know sneaking increases drop rate, but that's a little ways down the skill tree so that's no good.

Hmmm... Just to make sure, when you go "treasure hunting" you do go out with your luckiest monsters, right?
No, lol. Going treasure hunting just means looking for items, and it's affected by random chance and a trainer skill ability. Luck in terms of stats just means more crit chance, and a balancing of abilities.
If I were to play MonBre for real, knowing what I know, I would raise a monster with high strength, luck, and constition. But I guess I wouldn't hit much. Hrm.
